Activities per Day
Day 1 - Marrakech – Ait benhadou – Ouarzazate – Dades gorges
Departure from Marrakech to Dades Valley. We Across the High Atlas Mountain with Berber villages of Telouet and take a guided tour of the Kasbah of el Glaoui, former War Lord and Pasha of Marrakech. we Continue to Ait Benhaddou to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, a spectacular fortified village (Ksour).you take your lunch at Ait benhaddou or ouarzazate and continue to Dades valley, we well spend the night in a riad/hotel.
Day 2 - Dades Gorges – Todra Gordes – Merzouga
After breakfast, we go from Dades Valley to the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way. We’ll pass through Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. And then continue to Merzouga. After relaxing few minuts,we go to the camels who are waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. We will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums music in the middle of the Sahara,this is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise,when we arrive at the camp we go to a high dunes to see the sunset , we will spend the night in nomad tents .
Day 3 - Merzouga – Rissani – Ouarzazate
Wake early and climb the sand dunes to watch the beautiful sunrise. Pack-up the camels and trek back to duneline, where you will shower and breakfast at the hotel. Drive on to Ouarzazate to Rissani, where you can stop and visit its Traditional Souks which is considered the largest in southern Morocco. Continue on through the beautiful Draa valley with its millions palm trees. In the evening arrive Ouarzazate and check into hotel.
Day 4 - Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast at the hotel visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and Ait Benhaddou set of many famous films, like the Gladiator, ” Lawrence of Arabia ” and ” BABEL “. Then we will go to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains. arriving to Marrakech in the evening.
