Activities per Day

Day 1 - Tanger – Chef Chaouen – Fez

Reception at the port at the time agreed by our guide to leave for Chef-Chaouen. Chefchaouen or Xaouen is a charming little town of about 40,000 inhabitants located about 100km from Ceuta in the foothills of the Tisouka (2050m) and Megou mountains (1616 m) of the Rif Mountains, which rise above the village as two horns, giving the city its name (Chefchaouen in Berber means horns look) the variety of colors of the various products of the shops and bazaars contrast with the dazzling blue white home. Lunch there and then continue route to Fez through the Rif Mountains. Arrival in Fez, we left everything in the Riad and we can go for a walk through the streets and dine at a restaurant of your choice. Bed and breakfast in charming Riad in Fez.

Day 2 - Fez – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga

After breakfast, departure to Midelt through the mountains and cedar forests of the Middle Atlas. We pass by Ifrane, a charming ski resort and Azrou, an important handicraft center specialized in the work of cedar wood. After passage Zad (2178m / 7146ft), we arrive at Midelt for lunch. In the afternoon, we descend to Erfoud Errachidia and the Ziz valley dotted with palm trees. Continuation to the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. In the afternoon we will leave the 4×4 and we will take camels to cross the great desert dunes for about two hours. Night in the heart of the desert nomad tents (tents) enjoying the stars, the moon, sunset, drumming … dawn …. Dinner and overnight in tents very well equipped where we spend an unforgettable night under a vast sky I crashed.

Day 3 - Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges

We got up early to watch the amazing and magnificent sunrise from the golden dunes of the desert and then headed camel to the hotel where the camp of tents to give us a refreshing shower and a delicious breakfast.

Then we will drive 4×4 Rissani direction, large shopping souk of southern Morocco and it was the capital of the Alaouite dynasty and visit its big market, where all are desert nomads to make their purchases, the market has all product and has up to a parking lot of donkeys.

We leave to visit Erfoud fossil marble factory, also if you wish you can buy all kinds of marble and fossilized prehistoric animals. We followed the route known as the “Route of the thousand Kasbahs” and came to the spectacular Todra Gorge and Dades known for its high altitude and its beautiful views. Walk through the gorges and contemplate the wonderful scenery offered and delight our sight to over 300 m high. Accommodation, dinner and breakfast in charming Kasbah within the gorges.

Day 4 - Dades Gorges – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou- High Atlas – Marrakech

After breakfast, we take route again and leave behind Le Dades Valley through the route known as “Thousand Kasbahs” and pass by Le Valley of Roses, known for rose water manufactured in the area. Skoura reach that has a palm from the twelfth century more than 700,000 palm trees that shade dozens of wonderful kasbah. Ameridil we see the Kasbah, one of the most spectacular in Morocco. Crowned by dozens of towers, and reminiscent of the Arabian Nights. With a purely defensive origin, it was recently expanded as riad or guest house. Other architectural wonders are kasbashs and Dar El Kebbaba Aichil.

We arrived in Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert, crossing a road full of beautiful Kasbahs, palm oases and amazing. Visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a World Heritage Site, it is a fortified area within a walled town that surely will recognize, as this citadel has been the scene of such famous movies as Gladiator, Babel, Sahara, Asterix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra, among many others.

We cross the valley where we see Ounilla kasbahs built in caves. Arriving in the afternoon to Marrakech. End of our services.
